About Mary Roys
Mary Roys has always loved reading stories to children and listening to the wonderful stories they tell. She has a passion for instilling values and fostering learning dispositions in children. Mary’s daughters, who love to draw and doodle dinosaurs, first inspired her to write children’s stories.
Her interests inspired her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a master’s degree in childhood studies. For over 20 years, Mary has worked with children across diverse cultures and contexts, including homeschooling, teaching children in preschool and primary school settings, and managing her private childcare service.
Mary Roys, a mother of seven children, lives with her husband Séan and their family in Limerick, Ireland.
About Leila Elgersma
Leila is a professional children’s illustrator and founder of Leila’s Art Corner. She has over 14 years experience as a children’s illustrator with a passion for drawing lovable dinosaurs and animals. Her magical children’s murals can be found in multiple schools and pediatric facilities across the United States.
Leila Elgersma, a mother of four children, lives with her husband Paul and their family in Dallas, Texas.
